Amsterdam is one of my favorite cities so far. I love its brick buildings, open skyline, plenty oxygen, rich arts, and relaxed, easy going attitude towards life. Along with its glamorous gabled facades and flower-decked watersides, there is a diverse things to do and visit, whether your interests are more Golden Age art or grafitti, rich culture or getting high in a coffee shop. As Amsterdam is a city tied to the water, there’s nothing like seeing the city from a boat. The city is centred around the UNESCO-listed Canal Ring, where three canals form a horseshoe shape around the old center.</span></div>

Hang out in the vibrant area of iconic sign featuring enormous letters, or chill in the cafes of De Pijp, a district with an alive, cheerful feel that is home to the Albert Cuypmarket street market. De Pijp’s multiple of restaurants, cafes and bars, you will be spoiled for culinary choice. From Middle Eastern and North African cuisine to high-end teppayanki and Vietnamese street food, the neighbourhod’s cultural variety glooms through in its restaurants. Apart from that, the market is also home for the homemade stroopwafle which melts in your mouth! Yummy Dutch speciality is a piece of heaven in food form. Also, try some of Amsterdam’s street food poffetjes (fluffy mini pancakes) or raw herring served with ketchup and mayoneise. The center of Amsterdam is fairly low rise, so you won’t be able to find any skyscrapers with views from up high. However, the top of the Openbare Bibliotheek (Public Library) provides some nice city viewpoints with an outdoor terrace looking out over the city.</span></span></div>

Farmers, gardeners, tradesmen, and fishermen in the countryside make up the majority of Dutch people who still wear the conventional wooden clogs at the present time. The reason why the Dutch wear klompen in Holland is because they could be made cheaply and could withstand laboring conditions. We also found the opportunity to see and listen an handsome guy who was explaining and watching the process of the shoe making in a sarcastic manner; how those wooden shoes are made less than 3 mins with huge factory machines rather than doing with handmade which lasts hours and maybe days.</span></span></div>

<span lang="TR" style="font-family: "times new roman" , "serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 105%;">In my trip to
Romania, I found Authentic, Natural and Cultural country. These are the words
that best capture the essence of Romania, a dynamic country rich in history,
arts and scenic beauty. I accomodated with my boyfriend in Medgidia where is a municipality in
the county of Constanta, and Constanta lies on the western coast of the Black
Sea, which is the third largest city in Romania whereas the fourth largest port
in Europe, ranked just after Rotterdam, Antwerp and Marseille.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

of the most stunning structure was Constanta Casino (Cazinoul din Constanța)
which is perched on a cliffside overlooking the Black Sea. The impressive
structure's art deco shapes and details are still in tact despite having
shuttered decades ago. Maintaining the massive structure was simply too
expensive, so after passing hands several times over the years, it ultimately
shut in 1990. However, we took many pictures just outside of the Casino, where
seas hit the land and gives gorgeous sound and scenery as well. <o:p></o:p></span></div>

early years the castle acted as a defensive position against Ottoman invasions,
but later it became an important customs checkpoint between Wallachia and
Transylvania. A century later Bran Castle was repossessed by the city of
Braşov, when King of Hungary, Vladislas II was bankrupted. It remained in
military use until 1920, when it was adopted as a residence of the Romanian
royal family. The royal family was eventually expelled in 1948, at the behest

bazı duaların kabul edileceğine dair inancın oluşu ile birlikte tesis edilen
huzur ile bölgeye gelen ziyaretçilerce yoğun ilgi görüyor. Buradaki rivayete

Her
Sabancı Merkez Camii’i fotoğraflayıp, havaalanın yolunu tuttuk.</div>

GoEco provides large amount of volunteering programs for people who craves to travel and contribute to the community, wildlife, and environment they visit. Undoubtedly, one of my biggest goal is Traveling All Around the World. At the same time, gaining valuable experiences, improving my personal and professional skills and meeting with diverse people are all my desires in my life too. Therefore, I decided to be a volunteer in Porto, and besides this, travel throughout Portugal. I would like to share my experience in Portugal. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><br /></span>

<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">While I was a volunteer in Spot Hostel, Porto for 6 weeks, I
felt the idea I wish I could stay longer there. I was a bar tender and I found
a golden opportunity to learn and taste Portuguese drinks and also
international drinks. Porto is one of the most popular and touristic cities in
Portugal. Therefore I was able to visit the top attractions including, Douro
Valley, Dom Luis I Bridge, Clerigos Tower and Lello Livraria and much more.
Apart from this, Porto is very alive city for nightlife where streets are full
of people and also clubs are open until 8am with the beats of music. My
volunteering program was absolutely full of benefits and opportunities such as travelling
of other cities in Portugal, including, Braga, Provoa da Varzim, Guimaraes,
Gaia, Aveiro, Lisbon, Sintra, Faro and Lagos. I should say Lagos and Porto my favourites !. Surprisingly, I had free pass for
surfing as well. It means that I had so much spare time to visit another
breathtaking cities which in turn leads to understand and learn Portuguese
culture deeper, recognize their gastronomy including Feijoada, Bacalhau,
Francesinha and taste Portuguese wines. Bacalhau is sooo yummy !. Port wines were my fav as well. Additionally, by listening Portuguese music which is called Fado, I understood traditions of Portuguese in depth. During my working times, I
have never felt that I am working. I should admit that it was more about
socializing rather than working. In other words, I have met lots of great
people from over than forty countries and I had built new friendships. Besides,
managers and staffs were also so friendly. In this case, I have never felt
homesick or isolated. What is more, in the hostel, Saint John party is
organized with considering live music, food and beverages. Therefore, I
improved my communication skills and I gained various experiences such as
customer services and in event areas that are key benefits for my future
career. </span><o:p></o:p></span></div>

I drank lots of lots of Port wine, maybe more than water because I just love it. Local people counts it as a dessert and I may be drank a bottle of Port wine everyday. It was too sugary but who cares? I love dessert, I love sugar so ? I drank it straight, I drank it with food and I drank it while i was at the bar in my job as a bar tender. (Maybe it was not a good idea because guests sometimes started to serve instead of me, but it was so fun ! ) And also, all of the drinks were free to me ! I am going to miss those days a lot. </div>
